Door County, Wisconsin View of the Bay

We went on a trip to Door County, Wisconsin. This scenic peninsula juts out into Lake Michigan and is about as picturesque as you can get. This is a view out into the bay from Peninsula State Park. The peninsula offers something for everyone; hiking, biking, sailing, fishing, sightseeing, good food, bed and breakfasts, golfing, shopping and more.

My parents owned a cottage near Baileys Harbor in Door County. I have wonderful memories of being there as a child. I only wish we still had the cottage, it is so serene up there and "air conditioned" on the hottest summer day.

I've heard about Door County for over 40 years...never been there. You fine image makes it look quite appealing. Well done.
