I was hiking a trail and kept getting annoyed by something in my sock. I couldn't find a good place to pull of my shoes, so I finally just plopped my pack down and sat down to pull off the shoe. I looked up and saw this beautiful wood lily. The lily was so revered by the Greeks that they believed it sprouted from the milk of Hera, the queen of the gods. The orange lily symbolizes passion. The lily has to be one of the most beautiful wildflowers.
