This was near the Saskatchewan Crossing area off the Bow Valley Parkway. I saw a sign for a museum on Highway 11 near the Crossing area. While I was using the calculator to figure out how many miles it was to the museum (converting from km to miles while driving is NOT the same as texting, you know) I looked up and saw this fella. I slammed on brakes and got a few shots, then figured out that it was WAY too far for a museum side trip and turned back around. Glad I made the brief detour though.
