I was born here in 1979. Like many of the others, my parents were stationed here. Although we moved back to Germany (Heidelberg), I never got to see where I was born. It was really great to see all these pictures. Thank You!

This is where we were married Sept 1, 1978. Leslie and Ruby Barnave were our witnesses.

I was stationat landstuhl in1963 to 1965 I often think about the people I met there. The town is much larger now. I think it was better then. Thecenter of town was a small park.weuseto get a bratwurst sandwich for one mark. Those were the days.

To anyone who would like to see pictures of Von Sickingen's castle I have pics on my flickr page. Just search Landstuhl Castle. You may also email me directly at denniswi@hotmail.com, I still live near here, and have been in Germany for over 20 years.

I served in the US Army, and was stationed in Landstuhl in the late 70's. I came across your photo while surfing the net, and was transported back to the days I walked these streets. A few things are unfamiliar, but you captured quite well the little town I loved and sometimes hated so much. I was wondering if you make any images of the ruins of Von Sickigen's Burg Nanstein? Perhaps not the most impressively photogenic castle but I have very fond memories of it (or perhaps a certain young lady I used to go there with.) At any rate, thanks for the memories.

Landstuhl City Hall (Rathaus) on Kaiserstrasse (this is where anyone born or got married in Landstuhl) could get their birth/marriage certificates
