I remember this being a bakery and a game room in the early 1980's. Don't recall what it was actually called though.

This was a Gay Club on Collinsville Ave called The G Spot. Before then it was another night club.

I guess the people who live there need to recognize that it could be better and work to fix it up. I have seen some information online about a program to fix up the Jones Park fountain - a family is working with a foundation/renewal program or something to bring back some of wonderful things that ESL had. Students from SIU-E were working on the design project.
