this is shot at about 3500 altitude...I went up the mountains to see the perseids meteor shower but the sky even above 4500 ft was full of high Altostratus clouds...there were breaks in the cloud cover but the reflection of light from Los Angeles below obscured seeing any meteors at all.

Still, I had lots of photo fun!
