Enjoying the Summer Heat

Our cat, McCoy, likes to lie sprawled on our back patio in the heat. When it's very hot, like now, he'll only last around an hour before coming back inside.

An open cat's mouth looks surprisingly snake-like to me...but of course I love cats. yours too. BTW, a few years ago, when my cat of 16 years, had to be put down....I tired to get a new cat, even or maybe especially an older pound cat, one scheduled to die within 72 hours...but the animal shelter would not let me have the ill fated animal unless I would sign a paper that the cat would be kept strictly indoors. I could not in good faith sign such a document....so I told them..."Have fun killing the cat I would have given a good home to!" (BTW, in 24 hours my large bird feeder is empty again...so yes, I know the issues...I just love cats more than birds.) Best Wishes, Traveller

LOL. I love the sleeping positions of some domesticated animals. My daughter has two goldens who sprawl out like this on a couch. Jim
