Mower Blades Sharpening.

Olathe KS

For those that might not know one of the secrets to having a thick, healthy and nice looking lawn lawn is mow often, mow high (never more than 1/3 of the blade cut off at a time) and mow with a sharp set of blades.

I mow about twice a week and sharpen my blades 3 or more times a season.

I do mow often, if for any reason most of my lawn is very thick and dense and if I don’t stay on it I pay the price the next time I mow. I did add a mulching kit last fall to the mower and I considered a bagger but they are about $1000.00 and then it wouldn’t fit in my shed any longer.

Mr. T, Michael Landon (little Joe) brought a film crew to the Kansas in the early 90’s and produced a film in nearby Overland Park, something about pigeons I think. They tried to recruit me as the set electrician but I declined. Paul
