That's where asparagus will be when it starts sprouting. So far daffodils and hyacinths are the most evident plants (the snow drops have been up for weeks). While the lawn is still dormant, there are plenty of other signs of the earth awakening. I've even seen the fish in our pond. Not feeding them yet, though.
We had a similar false spring, Paul. I resisted getting too excited, so my winter tires are still on and my fun car is in storage mode.
Spring had sprung and all of our perennial plants and the lawn was looking pretty good and the soft wood trees had sprouted. Then it got cold, January cold for 2 days and snow! It got down to almost single digit cold, everything in my yard froze and everything looks like this now. Maybe we got the same Alberta Clipper. Paul
