They have probably made some nice upgrades in the last 10 years. This is simply the finest resort on the island now. At least in the Poipu area. Have never stayed up in Princeville.
And the service staff is outstanding.
I don't recall an Aloha sign in the restaurant or any macaws from our visit. Both are nice additions. Beautiful hotel. We stayed there in 1996 when hurricane Iniki was still a fresh memory. I remember being woken up by noisy doves and having a long walk from our room to the hotel's core. The grounds were lovely, and ANARA spa was very relaxing.
