One of my old customers wrote this book from his experiences as a pilot flying for TWA. He autographed and gave me a copy many years back. I always enjoyed Walt.

Walt was an interesting and very intelligent character and he loved to talk. He passed away back in 2005 or 06. I remember him telling me he had over a 1000 ocean crossings in his career. I may need to re read his book. He gave me another one he wrote about fear of flying even tho I’ve never had the fear. Paul

That's quite a collection. I love the Connie and the Convair. The last time I flew on TWA was 1998, during the Northwest pilot's strike. I flew in and out of St. Louis a lot when our daughter went to college there. While TWA is gone, Yamasaki's vaulted ceilings remain. Dave
