Ha! Me on Ski's...a never vision anyone will see...be that as it may, this is Mountain High, Wrightwood CA, (schematic image posted in Pending)...

but alas, see recent events that completely blocked me from driving up and exploring higher elevations...I mean really forbid me, I drove through road closures and road blocks, but very soon on my trying to get up the mountain, a snow plow completely blocked my assent via vehicle...(I get really huffy and puffy breathing-wise walking or hiking at about 9,000 ft, but here, even over 7,000ft seemed a little difficult for me).

"Three hikers died on California's Mount Baldy in late December 2025, identified as Marcus Alexander Muench Casanova (19), Juan Sarat Lopez (37), and Bayron Pedro Ramos Garcia (36), after falling near the dangerous Devil's Backbone trail during hazardous winter conditions, with extreme winds hampering rescue efforts and leading to trail closures, highlighting the mountain's notorious risks."

Thus, the road was closed to me.

Traveller

PS for Dave and the curious, the opening image of mine is from the the
Wasatch Mountains...North Central Utah, on the back way from Park City, Utah...where, I have never even had a cup of coffee...it is always a drive through.

Very nice, now I want to see a selfie of you all decked out in your ski gear ready to make a run. Fortunately I got wise and gave away all my ski gear on Facebook Buy Nothing to squelch any dumb idea like “I think I’ll run up to Snow Creek and catch some runs”. Paul

Gotta love the snow making machines. They have come a long way, but I don't see the hill well here - though I can spot the lift. Where are you?
