I should know that asparagus is only cut for a month or two then you let it grow, we had it when I was a kid as did my grandparents. This was the way of small town living in rural NE Kansas. Getting more forgetful I am. Paul

I stopped harvesting asparagus in June. It's now a towering, hairy mess. So we're back to eating storebought (I don't freeze).

Yes, all grilled. And I think the French use far more butter than I ever will. I put a little butter and pepper flakes on the corn.

I’m guessing the asparagus came from Dave’s garden. I was never a big fan of asparagus but like it chopped up in certain meals, usually Asian meals. Paul

Dave, you do have a thing for asparagus...and obviously this was cooked on a grill...(I feel a little like Sherlock Homes gathering clues here....lol)...the corn needs lots of butter, (confirming the old saying...what is the difference between a hundred dollar french meal, and what you cook at home...{answer}...a quarter of a pound of creamy butter that's all).
