Feeding Frenzy

They eat so quickly that getting a shot is challenging.
Nevertheless, I'm going to try it using a camera.

Baby goldfish are black. I didn't know that the first time I saw some in the pond several years ago. I thought to myself "where did those black fish come from?". So I looked it up and learned. Guess we have ourselves a sustainable pond.

I do not know their color at hatching nor did I google it but a wild guess is white. Paul

Yes, though I think I lost a couple to herons or other predators. Offsetting that is the presence of babies. Maybe five or six of them. Does anyone here know what color baby goldfish are? No fair looking it up.
