This is not exactly, or at all what I wanted to shoot, but it is late, I am busy and hungry...and this deserves a proud presentation. BTW, with Irish Butter it was Excellent...I mean, muy grande.

This was actually a bit of a nightmare processing the shot. You may find this problem with Cannon's new DPP4 so we have a common interest in this problem.

At some point, fumbling around in the night using the Q button on the back of the camera at the Dance Night DTLA a couple of weeks ago, I set images for small S1 RAW's, instead of whatever else I was trying to accomplish in the dark.

Unfortunately, the Tool Pallet, the most important function in DPP4 other than conversion to Tiff will not work with smaller RAW's. I did not know the problem at first but looking it over and over and over I came to understand and Canon then has confirmed that certain functions with DPP4 do not work well on WIN 11 machines that have been upgraded from WIN 10. I find this impossible to believe though it has been confirmed by Canon. Not always, but it is haphazardly there.

It is true that I can process my images in Photoshop, but I had come to rely on the Tool Palette to a very great extent while working in the Raw format which was not possible anymore. Ultimately, having figured this problem out and Canon's confirming certain non-functionalities with DPP4 in WIN 11 machines, Upgraded from WIN 10 I could fiddle around and find a better solution than PS.

I find this impossibly bad on Canon's part, but correctly setting the 6D Mark II to the largest RAW setting with nothing else, the Tool Pallet works again, but only on RAW images set at the largest setting. This isn't a problem because this is where I shoot anyhow, but it was a frustrating evening figuring this out. (to a still unsatisfactory solution).

Shoot first and ask questions, er, eat, later?

Very very interesting perspective. I like the creative take.

I enjoy it nevertheless, 102 mm, what lens did you use? Paul
