As a sometimes storytelling photographer, I usually go with content over aesthetic. This time, however, the trees reflecting in the still water seduced me. I also liked the way the dock led my eyes. And I had to keep the turkeys.
Tell them it's near Mariner Park and Windmill Point Lighthouse. There were people from downriver who had boated up for dinner. There were also kayakers and the occasional duck.
