Thanks. He is coming in to eat, so is slowing down. Some of my friends will shoot these at 1/3000 sec.
I have done that before with my better lens.

Jim, really excellent....I would have thought you'd need more than 1/2000/sec to catch a hummingbird...your technique must be exquisitely perfect. Traveller
