03 Me In The Tree

Trying again to do some walking and like before I can’t keep up with the wife. I noticed the tree and ducked inside for a selfie while waiting on her to return.

Ah, cricket. The sport of the gods. I was never any good at playing it, but I love watching. As I've said elsewhere, my brother is a professional cricket commentator for the BBC. He lives and breaths cricket, and has done since he was about four years old. Once you know what is happening (which can take a while), it's a truly absorbing game to watch. I recently discovered that one of the ESPN channels I get with my HULU subscription shows cricket sometimes. It's dangerous, because it can take a long time to play a game (as much as five days for the highest level of the sport). I really should have waited until I retire to discover that I can watch cricket on American TV.

It’s a pine tree that was trimmed fairly high off the ground on one side which what drew my interest. I also was standing next to it watching a group of guys playing cricket and I’ve never watched a cricket match before so as soon as I got home I googled cricket to be sure I was watching what I thought I might be. Oddly it never occurred to me to take a photo of them playing. Oddly… dumb is a better term.

When I go over to blackbob park next I’ll take a photo of the tree for you. Paul

Interesting shot. I am trying to envision the "inside" of a tree. I expect you are hidden in the lower branches. Would you add a shot in pending (or ...) as to what the tree looks like?
