I realize the image is a little dark but don't recall whether it was captured at a cloudy time or that spot was in shade (as it often is, I took a shot with my phone today showing the stripes of light that are characteristic of that part of our backyard). I processed this a lot more than what is normal for me, boosting shadows as much as DPP allows and increasing brightness. I also ran it through sharpening. I suppose I should also disclose that I took it through a window. It was way too cold outside to be hanging around shooting bird pictures. And I was also watching a football game. Yes, I meant to say that maybe he could burn carefully a little with the dodge tool to bring out some of the cardinal's eye...if any is there. Traveller
