We visited the Motown Museum yesterday (no Canyon De Chelly along the way) and had a great time. The famous Studio A is still intact, so you can stand where the stars sang.

No Smokey, unfortunately. Our group sang along (encouraged) with many of the songs during the movie and again in the studio. "Grapevine" would have been great. We made do with "My Girl". I couldn't have asked for better light for the image, and photography is encouraged throughout the museum. They just don't want you to record video during the movie. Many music luminaries have visited. Paul McCartney paid to have the studio piano restored when he saw its condition. Dave

I have not seen this on my visits to Detroit. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing. They have a pretty good website. Founded in 1985 (after I had moved). Yes - as your title says - the source of so much great music. Jim
