We have a prickly pear cactus in the yard which is just starting to bloom. I found a flower that was facing the morning sun, and was able to position my view so the interior pads were still in deep dark shade, and some of the surrounding plant was in light shade.
I then waited for the honey bees to show up and start to feast.
