A bunch of monkeys with PHD's (from Flesh & Bone)

We've made it nearly twenty centuries
A bunch of monkeys with PHD's.
Spun a web of communications
But it's all still a tangle to me. I can't tell the spiders
From the dangling flies and moths.

Canon EOS 6D Mark II

Very cool, T. It almost looks metallic.

I'm guessing you only have a full-size tripod. I have a mini I wish I could loan you.

I hope the spider hangs around long enough for you to try all the options you want.

PS the tripod can't get in there at all....lol...maybe the 70~200, with flash? T

I like it better than when posted...but it is hand held at 1/20 and so f/4.5. I have gone to the car and got the tripod...i may try the 60mm macro but, but the real problem is that he is in a corner, under my cabinets, and from the counter top to the corner is very small, little vertical space...I will try again, I think. I appreciate your thought and comment. Traveller

This is actually pretty good for the lens. A macro lens can get a closer focus, and maybe even a tighter f stop to increase the DOF.
Is there any way to get a tripod mount in close?
Easy to say, tough to do.

As noted to Dave, this is not the angle or the shot I wanted...the real problem ws that the focus distance was too close and so clean focus was an impossibility...this is a compromise angle...but I may shoot my friend again. Best Wishes, Traveller
