This is one of the many acronym centers in and around Boulder. It was designed by I. M. Pei, who also designed many famous museums and galleries, including the glass pyramid of the Louvre, the East Building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. It's about three miles up a pretty steep winding road from my house. A couple of times a year, when we're feeling particularly masochistic, we run up to it. This was taken from the corner of my street, like the shot of Devil's Thumb.
