07 On the Break

What surprised me was to see how high the cue ball went after it hit. This one was an "easy" break shot. Another fellow hit it harder, and it rebounded much higher.

Blue cloth = matched our basement's decorating scheme (sorta nautical, so I'm told).
We have a ping pong top for it, which I think is green (I have a poor memory for colors).

I just looked online at pool table suppliers.
You can now determine what kind of surface you want - fast - slow - high volume, etc.
Then you can pick the color out to suit your environment.
So, bottom line, the table color today in the US means nothing.

Dave. If I remember right (I've not played pool for a long time)... blue cloth = fast, green cloth = normal & red cloth = slow.

I like it. You've made me want to take the cover off my pool table in the basement. Were you shooting at 10fps, and were these three consecutive shots in the burst? But blue is a weird color for a pool table, isn't it? Or maybe I don't get out enough (I definitely don't get out enough).

I remember when we in UK used to use the spots and stripes, we now use just red and yellow.
