I've heard that wild turkeys can be quite aggressive, and very smart. The turkeys that people eat have been extensively bred for docility. This is a great shot. Alastair

Not really. This dude jumped up on a large box feeder about 15-20 feet from us. I guess he just wanted a better look at us. Jim

I was up in Madera Canyon again working on our video series. I went up to Santa Rita Lodge to shoot a hummer, and a flock of wild turkeys came by to clean up the ground. I caught him just right. Jim
