No busting. Just curiosity satisfied.

I have a staged photo in mind. Nothing as artistic, however.

LOL - busted ! More like a self admission.
But technically correct; actually not any different from taking a photo of a painting or a sculpture.

Glad to see you have not lost your creative juices in retirement.

Oh man..... I’m gonna get my balls busted for this one, I just know it. Dang I knew as long as no one asked any questions I’d be fine. Busted!!

Shadow lake doesn’t exist, that was just a catchy name I thought applied to the final image. As far as the sail boats and lake go, well have a look in pending. (Jaw dropper) I shot the boats on my work bench and took a photo of a night photo I had taken previously at Table Rock Lake in SW Missouri to technically be within the challenge time frame of the challenge. Mixed and blended together with software and There you have my entry. Oh and BTW I learned a long time ago to invert the sales to eliminate sails dragging the gutters and slowing down the boat. Or in this case catamaran.

Are those a different kind of sail than commonly seen on Shadow Lake?

But you are a real artist...the medium is distinctly different than medieval fresco's that involves the complex talent of mixing limestone and pigment to wet plastered walls, bu then so are fresco's different than canvas stretched on a frame, or cave paintings done 10,000 years ago...

It is all art...the quality is in the artist...and how long it lasts...wall art has been successfully surviving for eon's, fresco's, except for earthquakes and water seepage have also probably been more durable than canvas...were electricity to be gone tomorrow...our work would be gone instantly.

Which is kind of disconcerting when you think about it this way.

Now if only I could do art like a real artist (paint, palette, medium, canvas) then that would be something to brag about.
