Paul - congrats on the success of thew shutdown; and on getting 95% of the stuff sold off. That is both physically and mentally pleasing.

Yumm, It's like slightly tart candy, a delicious liquid refresher! If you're even in town, I'll make you some. Traveller

Orange mandarin green tea.... and with all that sugar we saw in the other cup yow, that’s gotta hurt going down. 🥴

Can’t say I’ve been bored, been too busy. Finally got the business shut down and about 95% liquidated. Next I moved onto Sheetrock repairs and repainting my garage, after 30 years of tools and materials hanging and stored everywhere and a truck that just fit in the garage there was damage. Not been bored at all. Paul

I meant refraction, not diffraction.

Ahhhhh, it is one of my progressions...cup w/o water....(shoot it but dumb! Done already) with water and tea bad, in color looks like urine after I add lemon, B&W helps this shot, but I'm a little freaked out with the association...(no more orange Mandarin green tea for me!)...so I have some new, my first black board...Ha!

Shoot it but the knife keeps falling over and this just isn't right...and besides I never learned masking real good, school-like good, so I kept trying to prop the knife up into and acceptable position and it kept falling, finally, for 5 seconds or so, it stayed in place...

Persistence pays off.

I've been so bored locked in that when I did my weekly shopping I saw black foam board for sale...what the hell?!?....but I bought it anyway and it came in damned handy.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think this is a single shot. If I follow the knife blade, I see two diffraction breaks where it enters the tea and where it enters the glass. Also, the knife looks like it is leaning back against a black background.

All in all - very well done.

Very interesting, of course since I did plenty of special effects in my DSLR days I have to ask how you achieved this feat? Single shot or combined with photoshop and masking? Paul
