Thank you. The sky is what caught my attention. The shot was actually taken at about a right angle to the setting sun, which did a luscious job of illuminating those clouds. Dave

We are in the suburbs and have a little over an acre. Yes, I believe that's a cypress. I should get an arborist to help catalog our trees. We also have redwood, cedar, oak, spruce, birch, apple, locust, maple, and dogwood. Sadly, no more elms or ash. Dave

Thanks, the previous owners left us a gem, and I cannot take full credit for maintaining it. Our kids actually chose this house. They ran around into the back yard, and came back and got us. "You have to see this!". We did, and then we went and looked at the house itself. We love the location and the neighborhood (though just a little less in its present torn-up state). Dave
