You know me, I try to work outside the lines. This is the spindle shaft and bearing assembly for a commercial chop saw that a local bolt distributed uses to cut large threaded rods into custom lengths for customers. I have worked on this saw many many times over the years, the employees repeatedly push it too hard and this poor saw with 1/2 the ball bearing missing was wobbling and knocking to beat the band. The funny part was even as loud and wobbly as it was the operator told his boss, “I think I can finish cutting so we can get the order out”...... They sent the order to a nearby friend who manufactures rods and bolts to finish cutting the order and overnighted a new spindle. I cleared my calendar so I could replace it for them. Paul
