Traveller - not to be embarrassed. Printing is one of the drivers for the brightness calibration. I am a bit surprised that at these dark settings that you can see all the 26 bars on the grayscale bar. Maybe that is less sensitive than I thought.
Yes, and like the Patriots - keep on trucking. They will certainly be held up as a model to never give up.
Jim, I thank you so much for holding my hand in this...printing has been dark....though I just play with it till I get what I want....I have switched monitors...the Samsung has this bright function and I could never get back to factory reset(admittedly, this is odd, but true on this model).
We will see how things go going forward.
I am slightly embarrassed by this....but we grind on, (like the Patriots...lol)
