Dave - you are right, but in the area where I am we have lots of lights. I took some shots with the street light out of the picture, but its light was obviously still there, and the photo looks better with the streetlight visible - and it better meets the challenge.

Being picky, I think it would be even better if the streetlight and other non-decorative lights were extinguished temporarily.
