Yes, if I were to move to a 6D or the like, I'd do it primarily for the high ISO/ low light capability.

Actually it's not as much different as you think when you use the equal FOV for the crop body. I challenge you to use the same lens on the Rebel body and equal FOV of 59 mm and see what you get? You might be surprised! FF is different and you have to adjust. I really enjoy the differences especially in the high iso capabilities. Paul

My comment post was really directed to you Jim....I've had people complain to me about the 6D, they wanted to be magic...it isn't magic....I think you have to learn it. No need for you to blindly follow our rush off the clilff....lol

gotta run, Traveller

Looks pretty good.
Re DOF - plug your numbers in athttp://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html
(you may need to use the 5D).

Thanks, but it seems to be a very narrowwwwwww field of focus at f4....I am kind of surprised; focus is fine in my tests, but....close up, it is a shallow DOF indeed wide open.

I think this will throw a lot of people off and cause concern with what in truth is just user error...I've got to stop this puppy up for best results.

And it is heavy....I shot some video at the fight, a big party, when I get time, I'll see how that worked out.

But it sure is a different tool from my Rebel and I need to be aware of it.

Hey I notice something different in the exif data, I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is tho ;-). Welcome to the FF group. Paul.
