These are the mascots of the three colleges where I have spent most of my teaching career (so far). The SMU (Southern Methodist University) Mustang; the Rice Owl, and the Colorado Buffalo. The buffalo, of course, is taking advantage of Colorado's historic ballot initiative that legalized what everyone was already doing. :)
