*_The outlet is dead; long live the outlet!_* As a matter of fact, I had thought before already of doing exactly that, Jim and Paul, and have now «accordingly and definitely» cloned the socket out; just for this Challenge, though, because that detail had been—when I composed the image for «general purpose» (not for the Challenge)—quite essential for my understanding of the scene: that somewhat outdated electrical item helps to situate the whole bathroom *in time* (the first half of the 20th century). Many thanks to both of you, for your friendly comments and helpful suggestion! ~ db.

This is the one for me and I agree with Jim about possibly killing the outlet. Paul

IMHO, this clearly fits the definition of minimalistic - one subject, few distractions. However, I might have tried to clone out the electrical outlet in the lower left to remove all distraction.
I like the subject, and how you have composed the shot.
Jim

Thanks a lot, Traveller, for your very kind comment; much appreciated, indeed! So let's see if my photography in this case will be considered as *minimalistic* (that's what the Challenge is all about, isn't it?) as are the sink and tub design I photographed... ;-)) db.

Minimalism in design caught very well, Daniel, and you are getting lots of views, so this is obviously drawing curious interest. Nicely done. Traveller
