Courageously Jumping Down The Fence

While trying to take pictures of some dragonflies
in a dark corner of my backyard I noticed that my cat
was about to jump down. The challenge came to my mind.

There was no time for changing settings except for
setting exposure time to 1/1000 s so I kept iso at 1600
in spite of the bright sunlight and I had no chance to
change the 180 mm macro lens.

Thank you, K and Traveller!

Very good captured moment, Gerald.
PS. What does NR mean?

Very clean image, good use of NR...Traveller

Paul, the RAW file was developed in Lightroom with my standard NR preset. Usually, I keep luminance at 60 and detail at 15. Lightroom's internal denoising algorithm provides higher reduction at higher isos internally, so I make big changes to the NR settings only if I see that it is necessary. -Gerald

For a moment there I thought this was a squirrel. 1600 ISO, did you have to use any noise reduction? Paul.
