I'll try to make a long story short.
This is the house I grew up in.
I lived there from 1958 til 1983.
My dad passed away 8 years ago, mom about a year ago.
Today we moved out the last of the stuff that made up their lives.
If all goes right, the house will be sold on the 17th.
Today was probably the last time I'll be in that house.
Feelings conflict, on one hand, I'm happy to see it go to a young couple starting out.
On the other hand, it' s pretty much the final good-bye.
