Beautiful shot. The other thing that makes for spectacular sunsets is air pollution. When we lived in Houston, we used to get some great sunsets, because of the terrible pollution. Every cloud has a silver (or red) lining.

We have to fly to Los Angeles fron time to time for custody court and if our flight is on US Air they fly into Phoenix. If it's a early flight then the sun is rising aboue the mountains and it's truly a spectacular scene. Now I have a better understanding as to why. P.A.

I have found it interesting in how the sunsets can vary so much here in AZ. There isn't a lot of rain, so every time we get really windy days, it is generally followed by colorful sunsets. Other days are pretty dull.

I was listening to the weather man the other day talking about how we had a ton of dust in our atmosphere that blew in from western Kansas. We would of had spectacular sunsets because of it but the clouds and rain moved in and cleared out the sky. P.A
