Winter Warming Yurt

Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah

Fall colors at the Cedar Breaks' Winter Warming Yurt. The yurt serves as a winter ranger station, education center and welcomes cross-country skiers, snowshoers, and snowmobilers to stop in, sit by the fire and sip a hot cocoa.

Sierra, this is a really very special place and picture, love the colors and thank for the link. I have seen a lot of northern lights - especially after having been working for many months in Arctic and on North Pole but I always enjoy this fantastic phenomena

I've got a couple of pictures somewhere that I took of a warming hut for skiers near Zermatt Switzerland from 1971. I remember it looking a little more porous than this one. Paul
