Thanks, Paul, for your kind words ... and you may be right about it being a hornet. I'm not sure ... but, whatever it is, there were several of them crawling around these flowers. Luckily, they weren't very aggressive at the time. - ken
Looks too big for a yellow jacket so i'm inclined to believe its a hornet. Love those colors, fine detail and smooth bokeh. Paul

Yes, I think you're right, Traveller ... but I was having a difficult time coming up with a title, so I used "artistic license" to call it a bee (even so, it's still not a very good title!) Thanks for your comments! - ken
