As I said in the challenge thread, this is my favourite of the two. They are both excellent though. Regards, Michael

I like this one better, there's a sense of motion.....being that you can almost put yourself in the shot. And I like the mix of colors here, I think the first one has an overpowering amount of red and yellow..........like mcdonalds lol. Good work.

Thank you, Daniel, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Really. But I doubt if I can leave both, I have other images to cut & process and post...I think...lol. Best Wishes, Traveller

BTW: If I were you and *really* wanted to know, I'd leave both entries in the gallery and let the voters decide... Their verdict would/will answer (y)our doubts. — db.

I do like both images, Trav: they are both very "refreshing". The first one may be formally the better photograph with less distracting elements and clearer lines. But I do prefer, nevertheless, this one; and —though I'm not able to analyze it *rationally*— I think this preference is based on the "fact" that here the girl's smile gets more directly through to my *soul and heart* ;-) which is one of the best things one can say of any picture! I'm afraid, though, this comment of mine is not overly helpful for your decision making, is it? — db.

I'm trying to work the math to see how you got 1/833, I can't figure it out. Paul

How can you not love that smile! Paul
