I know it's not "all too" yellow,
but it is as yellow as it gets
in my "photo-archive"...

Thanks again, Kenneth! I agree with your observation that "there's a lot going on here". And I wonder if not possibly *too* much? — db.

There's a lot going on here. I like it!

Trav: When I do portraits (which happens now and then, mostly during family reunions) I usually am quite pleased with the results (and so seem to be my "victims"). But portaiture is not my favorite "activity" in photography; and I wonder, BTW, why humans always move when I want them to sit/stand still ... the buildings I most often take pictures of, don't do that! ;-)) — shu: What a charming way to call me "overly sensitive" and, even more interestingly, "foolish"! While I may well be the former in other fields (in my profession—working in public—that happened sometimes), I don't think I am as far as my photography goes; but, then, who am I to judge that? — Thanks to both of you for your comments! db.

everyone looks at images in a different way, imo so to be overly sensitive where your images are concerned is rather foolish. for everyone who rejects or criticizes an image, there is someone somewhere who will love it. just ask me!!! LOL shu

Maybe you have a talent for people you are unaware of?!? I too tend to let people leave the frame before I shoot...but viewers seem to like to see people too. Hummm?

Thanks, Traveller and shu, for your comments! Maybe, Traveller, you did not mean to be ironic. But whenever there is a human being visible in a picture of mine, I expect you all to be so, as usually I'm prepared to wait quite a time for every person to have left my frame and allow for my image to be "clean" and "aseptic" ;-)) Sorry for having misinterpreted your remark. I apologize, db.

this is very nice. i like the man's expression and yes, yellow comes to mind when i look at this. shu

I don''t think I was trying to be ironic...this is a human story...a bored man holding a time table to give out...and no one is there...to even glance at him, though he is. All Aready...to serve!

12:10PM?

Best Wishes, Traveller

Don't mind those, as you say, "crazy prominent" artifacts (that I explained then in a comment) any more: they had a reason there and I think they were a one-time flaw, not a incurable chronic disease of mine. I am, anyway, glad you like these ones; and your—halfway between ironic and satiric—remark about the "human touch" in no less than one of *my* pictures of all challenge-entrants, was something I expected... ;-)) Thanks, Traveller, for your kind comment! — db.

I like all three; none seem to have the compression artifacts that were so....crazy prominent that they had to be intentional as on your CitySymbol3....nice work on these though, nice processing.

And I like the human touch here.

Best Wishes, Traveller
