Stop Burning...Me

Ona Beach, Oregon

It wasn't until I was reviewing this image on the computer that I noticed the words 'stop burning' etched into this very large drift log. As the log was also partially charred, I decided to add the 'me' to it (perhaps that was the intent after all :)). Of course, to make the letters stand out more after converting to b&w, I used the burn tool on them. Would that be considered ironic?

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed viewing your series of shoreline photos posted in eligible and exhibition. All displaying an interesting study on shape and texture.
