1st Place Suddenly, I Saw Someone Coming by Michael

Not quite part of my daily routine, but an area where I had walked before. I had noticed these stairs previously but hadn't had my camera with me. Then someone walked into view.

Thanks K for taking the trouble to show me what you were thinking. I certainly don't mind.
The reluctance I referred to stems from a feeling that the result would be too fake, although I know there's nothing in the challenge rules prohibiting it.
Also, I quite like the looming presence of the building, which I think contributes to a slightly ominous atmosphere.
Regards, Michael

Michael, I allowed myself - hope you don't mind - and did a try. The result is in pending. Sorry - I just like to experiment and wanted to see how the place would look without the building. (I copied the picture into itself and shifted the top image to the left, quite fast - not very careful and/or precise processing - just to see the result). What do you think about ?

Michael - it is neither suggestion nor recommendation - rather the thoughts what I may be would try if this would by my shot - without any guarantee that the picture would benefit from this.
Just for curiosity - why are you reluctant? Dou you think the building is important part of the picture making it a kind better balanced ? Or you think this will "fake" the picture ?

Thanks K and Paul.
K, thanks for the suggestion, but I would be reluctant to remove such a major component of a scene. Regards, Michael

Good work MK, this one would have been a great entry for the leading lines challenge also. Paul

Michael, it should not necessarily be a part of daily routine. The picture is good on topic and I like it. This someone adds a nice touch. May be I would get rid of that building to get a picture more graphic
