Victor

I saw this homeless fellow on Auckland's Queen Street last Tuesday. I offered him a cup of coffee in exchange for a photograph. I wasn't happy with the full length image, so I cropped it down to head only.

unfortunately all too many people like this fellow live on the streets. i'm sure all have a story to tell. this is a nice portrait of a man whose beard is as intriguing as his serious gaze. shu

Michael, he didn't seem to want to talk much. I think he must have access to a welfare shelter somewhere in the city, because, although scrappy, he was quite clean. His voice is very soft, almost timid, in contrast to his 'wild' appearance. He was immensley pleased with the cofee :-)

A very poignant image Giles. Did you find out how he became homeless? Regards, Michael

Nice portrait, Gilles and a good b&w processing. If you allow me - I would crop the top (u to forehead) to get rid of the slightly disturbing ceiling and clone out that bright "line" on the right-down site of the frame
