Thank you for commenting. I took an annual xmas portrait of one of my fav clients and she gave me this gift. It is a 2007 "rare" Lolita hand painted wine glass. I had to mark its existence in some manner. The background is simply a line of tea candles burning, with a fav Colorado wine bottle (long since emptied) as a backdrop. I used my expodisc as a manual custom WB. Interestingly, when I first saw this on the LCD, I thought naw... that is too bright. But, when brought into LR, it really was the best exposure, sharpness, and WB. My only nitpic is that I wanted a little more of the wine bottle name to show through, but perhaps it is not necessary for an overall effect? Again, thank you for commenting. jano
Jano, how can I NOT comment on this one.... right up my wheelhouse. Beautiful warm tones and very interesting how the two light flank each side of the stem, like two eyes of a character. Cheers and I hope you had a great holiday.
