You are right about the lack of processing, a little laziness on my part but I must admit I did play with levels and contrast a little and did not like the result so opted for a much more "bland" appearance (as shot).
Looking at the histogram it is too far left so does need more contrast and better balance.
I personally like the great DOF these miniature sensors provide and tend to opt for optimal sharpness even in the background such as the trees in the distance and those young guys in the background, this tends to suffer a little unless selective contrast/levels and saturation are used.
Again, I must admit to laziness here... no excuses.. just laziness... lol
These three seem almost totally unprocessed, but what I have learned about digital photos, a certain amount of post processing is required to bring out the essential quality of the shot. It's not like the film days where the planning of the shot was most important. I worked on this one a bit and put it in Pending with (I hope) some changes to bring out more life from it. -tv
