Sea Nettle 1

Pretty much straight from the camera, with some cropping.
I deleted the other sea nettle image to make room for two others.

Very nice, almost cosmic picture with the stars. Beautiful creature.

Thanks Kelly and Nico. I wish I could spin a tale of risking life and limb under the sea among deadly creatures, but in fact they were just shot through a sheet of glass in the Melbourne aquarium. Light levels in this display are quite low, so the difficulty was in getting reasonably sharp shots of moving subjects. You can see there was a depth of field issue. Regards, Michael

Excellent photography, Michael! Amazing colours, detail and sharpness. How did you do it? Regards Nico

Both of these are wonderful Michael. Tough decision which to choose over the other.

Were these shot under water? - Kelly
