Thanks everyone. Nico, I did make a conscious choice to shoot in portait just so the buildings would be in the frame. For locals, this would be a dead giveaway as to location of the shot (Acost Bridge). Plus, they blur nicely when you use the built-in ND filter in the G11.
Excellent, Bruce. I always score 0 out of 10 for panning shots like this, so I have so much respect for those who get it right. Excellent bw conversion. Did you pick the portrait style purposefully so as to include the buildings? I would have anticipated this in landscape format? (Not sure why exactly I say that, by the way, just my "feeling".) Excellent photography.
