If you recognize this, it's because it's a re-run from Spring of 2004 (cslr-challenge 12).

The swirl of bricks and the shadows!

Kelly, some group touring the city, perhaps on the theme of "art in the city" or something like that? I don't know. I had to act. The sun was just about to sink into the roof-line, and I had more angles to cover still, so I didn't wait for the group to move somewhere else. In another shot, taken 5 minutes later, the people were gone and the sun was just sitting on the top of the roof (and I was shooting from a different angle).

Thank you Peter.

Rob, you're a funny guy!

This is a wonderful image! Not easy to make an interesting square image of a town square... Rob

Really striking image Olaf! I love the way you combined the sun flare and shadow, in combination with the sculpture and cobblestones. Great image for this challenge.

Great capture Olaf and thoughtfully framed/ stationed. The arcing shadow plays well with the arcing pavers... but what are those people all standing around for?

Love the way you've framed the light in this piece. The stone streets have great texture. - CameraShy09
