Thanks, Bob. The vuvuzela's continue relentlessly. But they were definitely much quieter last night when South Africa suffered a solid beating by Uruguay. :-) Regards Nico

Beer is a good guess but I can assure you that this bottle sealer was redundant... :-)

Of course, it works with Ginger Beer as well.... but ... tell somebody who cares... lol

Thanks Pops... glad to be of service... look forward to your inspiration.

Thanks Nico... can you still hear after that "wonderful" (... hmmmmm ? ) vuvuzela orchestra? ( ... or did I get the spelling wrong...?)

~ Regards Bob

Excellent use of the available light; an interesting object and super-sharp focus all combined to create a unique image. So, are you going to tell us what type of bottle that device belongs to? My guess is also beer :-) Regards Nico

Gee Wapakeneta, Mr. Wizard!

You've provided a little inspiration with this photo and a comment on my bottle of wine. I'm going to work on "Pops' Morning After" tonight.

Yes Peter, it was a cold and windy 'stay indoors' day today and I was surprised at the slow shutter speed myself. I used a tripod and set timer to minimise shake.

Kelly, yes a very useful piece of glass, good also for portrait work. This is an older one, I think they have a MK II version now.

Thanks gentlemen, much appreciate your comments ~ Regards Bob

From the thumbnail, I kept thinking either polio or incarceration! ... but now I'm thinking beer - LOL

Love that glass (it's on my wish list).

4 seconds!? Window Light?

Quite, lonely effect. Great title that really sets the mood Bob!
